Modern up and coming producer heading for the top A picture perfect career: after winning one young horse class after another and gaining marks up to 10.0 in his 30-day test, Balou du Rouet successfully “landed” at the 1.50m level. Already in 2005 he caught everyone’s attention by scoring the highest mark of 9.2 at the national championships, making him one of Germany’s top 4 licensed stallions. His enormous jumping talent, combined with great elastic gaits and a fascinating charisma make Balou du Rouet an exciting choice for the breeders of sports horses. Once again, Balou du Rouet emphasises his dominant quality as a producer in type, elegance and movement, with numerous foals at many different auctions. He continuously produces finalists for the German foal championships. Offspring of Balou du Rouet have been approved at almost every stallion licensing – most notably the licensed “BE BRAVO”, who sold for € 350.000 as the most expensive horse of the 2007 AOS auction. His number of approved sons has amounted to over ten stallions. As a descendant of Baloubet du Rouet - gold medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens and an incredible three-times successive World Cup Champion – he has one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international scene in his pedigree. His grand sire Galoubet is a son of the great stallion Almé and was already an international success at the young age of seven. He won team gold in 1982 at the World Championships. On the dam’s side, Balou du Rouet is directly related to the founder of the bloodline, Cor de la Bryere, from Holstein through Rantzau xx. The offspring of the dam’s sire, Continue, achieved lifetime earnings of over € 230.000. Numerous licensed stallions are descendents from the dam line. He completed an excellent Stallion Performance Test and was awarded with the top marks of 9.5 and 10.0 for jumping by the 'foreign' judges. He was Oldenburg Silver Medallist 2005 and one of the best German horses in his age group. Balou du Rouet is the perfect sports type, equipped with maximum elasticity in the basic gaits and first-class jumping quality.

He has continued his sporting career in supreme style, winning several classes judged on style and ability up to "M level". He won the final qualification at the German Young Horse Championships with the top score of 9.2 and in the final was one of the 4 best approved stallions in Germany.

His sire Baloubet du Rouet, currently one of the most successful jumping stallions on the international stage (individual gold medallist at the 2004 Olympic Games in Athens, three-times consecutive World Cup Champion, winner of many Grand Prix's), has an exceptional pedigree. Balou's grand sire Galoubet is by the great stallion Almé.

He is a beautiful black stallion with modern type and very good conformation . 

He demonstrated very high rideability, and a very good trot and canter.

Soprano showed talent for collection, and was very expressive, with big, effortless flying changes, and an excellent half pass.

He showed very good character, and my children loved rubbing on him. 

I have recently become aware that Soprano has produced excellent horses in Europe including a state premium mare who was invited to the elite mare show in Germany; 

a finalist at the National Championship in Sweden;

 and a runner-up champion in the main stud book of Danish Warmblood with very good marks.  He has at least two sons, one in Sweden, one in Denmark that will go through the stallion licensing process this spring.

SOPRANO is a striking, modern type, homozygous black premium Oldenburg stallion with proven world class performance bloodlines inherent in his pedigree. His movement exhibits activity, suspension, and elasticity. With very correct conformation and excellent feet, he is a beautiful type.  SOPRANO completed his 70-Day Test in Neustadt Dosse, Germany finishing 12th out of 46 stallions and was the first stallion by SANDRO HIT to be approved in Denmark.

SOPRANO’s pedigree exhibits great depth and versatility. His sire, the legendary 1999 World Young Horse Champion and Bundeschampianate SANDRO HIT, passes on to his progeny the genes of numerous influential sires. SANDRO HIT’s sire, SANDRO SONG, a double graded champion in Oldenburg, is by SANDRO, an international show jumper who won the Danish Derby ridden by Franke Sloothaak. WELT AS, in SANDRO HIT’s third generation, is famous for siring Anke Van Grunsven’s Olympic Dressage Champion Bonfire and many other top horses.

SOPRANO's damsire, the legendary CONTENDER, won his 100 day test and is one of the most significant sires in Germany. CONTENDER’s progeny are characterized by outstanding jumping ability, very good movement, and excellent rideability. SOPRANO's mare line (The Flattopia) produced many international stars such as dressage horse Rubioso ridden by Ellen Bontje; Lord Kem (Champion Stallion in 1989); Continue; Maffay; Calmiro; and Farmer.

ALSO FOUND on SOPRANO’s damside is TIN ROCCO, who won ten conformation tests as a three year old and competed in Grand Prix jumping winning the Preis Von Blankenesse in Hamburg/Klein Flottbek (Derby Show). Of TIN ROCO’s approved sons, Traumtänzer won the stallion performance test in the USA and Torero was his best winning dressage horse in 1990. His highly awarded St. Pr. daughter Gutena represented him successfully at the German show in Verden in 1990. His son Tie Break was in the finals of the 1988 German Show Jumping Championships and in 1990, he won a test at the German event horse championships. In the 1990 FN breeding statistics TIN ROCCO leads as the most successful sire of event horses of his age group.

TIN ROCCO’s sire, TIN ROD XX, was an English TB of large frame and excellent movement. He produced approved stallions and very valuable mares including the dam of Landlord (Olympic horse 1988) and Lausbub (international show jumper).

SOPRANO'S foals are modern in type inheriting his beauty, elegance, elastic movement, correct conformation, outstanding temperament, athleticism, and dark color. Soprano has been a very consistent producer of top offspring in Sweden, Denmark, Germany, and Australia. Out of 550 young dressage horses that competed in Sweden, 69 were selected for the Swedish Young Horse Championships. Soprano's son Chaigon was among those 69 and was then one of 10 selected to compete in the Champions' Finale, placing 9th under Minna Telde. Soprano’s successful daughters include  Parma who was selected for and sold at the prestigious October 2007 Autumn Elite Auction in Vechta, Germany; Samba, a four-year old Soprano/Donnerhall mare who was graded as runner-up champion in the Danish Warmblood main stud book with excellent marks; and Grevens Sa’Va’  who became the champion mare at her last competition with the following scores:  8,0 walk, 8,5, trot, 9,5 canter, 9,0 rideability, 9,0 capacity.  She was selected for the Elite Mare Show in fall 2008.  At her performance test, Grevens Sa’Va’ received the second highest score in all of Denmark.
