SCF HORSES SOLD
<<It was a pleasure
doing business with Sporting Chance Farms. They raise exceptional Dutch
warmbloods with a lot of love and attention to detail.
The three year old filly I
purchased has talent, looks and a great mind. It is really exciting to find a
breeder in the United States who is truly interested in developing
international quality horses! It is definately worth taking a look at their
horses before making the trek to Europe! Emmy Eisenberg>>

2006 Indoctro Filly
Bellara
In Nov 2005, we purchased a foal in utero from Carlos &
Karin Jimenez of Sporting Chance Farm. A year and a half later, we have a
fantastic yearling filly (Indoctro x Consul x Akteur), whose full brother,
Zenith VDL, made it to the second round of the stallion selections in
Holland, Feb 2007. "Bellara" has a wonderful temperament; very
curious, playful, intelligent and brave. She handled the very long trip home
to Alberta Canada (over 2300 miles and 3-1/2 days) very well.
The Jimenez's have been very successful
with their breeding program, not compromising on anything. All their
offspring are very well bred and very successful in the show ring. If you
browse their website, you will see for yourself.
If you are looking for a horse for sport or
a horse for your breeding program, look here first. Jimenez's are very
friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating.

Never Say Never, Keur Preferent
NEVER SAY NEVER NEVER
SAY NEVER, Keur Preferent ( Wanroij x Milkie XX)
At 4 years of age at keuring in
Ontario:
NEVER SAY NEVER NEVER
SAY NEVER, Keur Preferent ( Wanroij x Milkie XX)
"Winnie" is a 1995 Dutch Warmblood mare, out of Talk of
Gold by Wanroij. She was 2nd in the "Top Ten" NA/WPN keuring as an XFB
foal and is a full sister to champion "A" show hunter "Money
Talks", aka "Talkative" ridden by Tommy Serio. She is the
dam of Rhumba, Tango, Ulysses, and Zenda, and grand-dam of Versailles and Zeta.
with her Ferro foal
WINNIE
IS NEVER SAY NEVER now keur preferent (WANROIJ X TALK OF GOLD TB). WE SOLD HER
TO MARTHA AS HER FOUNDATION BROODMARE AND SHE HAS HAD FIVE 1ST PREMIUM AND STER
FOALS IN A ROW! Then numerous grandchildren who have also been 1st premium......

First
two at 3.5 weeks, the third at 5 weeks.
At her 2002 NA/WPN
keuring, Winnie was
awarded the coveted Keur Predicate, after displaying her
rideability in a successful IBOP and presenting not one, but three, 1st Premium
offspring! Winnie's talent for jumping was noted by the jury. She received high
marks for her carefulness, technique, and scope, scoring 8's for technique and
jumping talent, and an 8.5 for scope. The jury commented that she was an easy
horse to ride with a good attitude.
Winnie was 9th in the"Top
Ten" list for the 2002 NA/WPN keuring tour for her free jumping.
She placed an impressive 5th place in the "Top
Ten" for her IBOP!
At her very first show, a
hunter primary, Winnie was champion of the 3'6" division.
As of the 2004 NA/WPN keuring in
Vermont, Never Say Never completed the requirements for her "Preferent"
predicate. Ulysses, by Ferro, and Tango, by Idocus, were the second and third of
the required 3 Ster quality offspring to be presented at their studbook
inspections. Rhumba, Ster, also by Idocus, was presented in 2002. Winnie made
this feat seem easy, considering she produced three consecutive
Ster predicate offspring, from 2 sires. Not only this, but her first grandchild,
Versailles (Orame x Idocus, ster) was also awarded her First Premium as a foal.
For 2005, Winne is expecting a foal by the Oldenburg stallion, Rosario (Rubenstein
x Cantos).
A special thanks to Karin
and Carlos Jimenez, of Sporting Chance Farm, for selling us such a great mare!!
(Sold by Sporting Chance Farm) IS NOW
KEUR PREFERENT AND ULYSSES IS #1 IN NORTH AMERICA! With
the awarding of Ster predicate to both Ulysses and Tango at the 2004 NA/WPN
keuring in Vermont, Never Say Never has completed the requirements for her
"Preferent" predicate, namely producing three offspring of Ster
quality at age three and older. For Never Say Never, these were consecutive
offspring. To date, she has only produced First Premium babies. Tango, by Idocus,
went on to win the DG Bar Cup class for young horses under saddle, with an
amazing score of 77.4%. This score put him in the "Top Ten"
(4th place) for the 2004 NA/WPN North American keuring, in addition to making
the "Top Ten" list for conformation (6th place). Ulysses
also made the "Top Ten" list twice. He was 1st
in North America for his studbook class of geldings/stallions, for conformation
and 5th for movement.
UPDATE: Never
Say Never, and her three offspring, Rhumba, Tango, and Ulysses, all made the
"Top Ten" list, for the "Best of the Best" of the
2002 North American Keuring! Never Say Never made the "Top Ten"
list for both her free jumping and her IBOP (riding test).
The following excerpt is from
the NA/WPN "On the Road Report":
Never say never when someone invites you to
judge horses in Nova Scotia. Never Say Never (Wanroij x Talk of Gold xxa x
Milkie xx), the foundation mare of Martha Haley's breeding program, was
presented along with her 4 year old daughter (by Idocus), 2 year gelding (by
Idocus), yearling colt (by Ferro) and granddaughter (Orame x Idocus), and all
received a first premium. Never Say Never, bred by Dr. Carlos and Karen Jimenez
received a star in the morning due to her good conformation and supple movement
as well as her good technique during the free jumping. Under saddle, she proved
her ridablity and not only showed good jumping technique, but showed that she
had scope as well. The final score for the riding test was 73. All of the Never
Say Never offspring had extremely good necks and polls.
