The class
started with the talented Chanel SVS (Jazz pref out of Olympia ster by
Idocus crown x Wanroij), bred and owned by Jeanne Schamblin of Sierra
Vista sport horses. Chanel has good leg technique in all her gaits, is
supple and has an uphill tendency in trot and canter. Her hind leg is
quick and can be easily activated. This long legged dressage horse
scored an overall of 79 in her IBOP and DG bar, with an 8.5 for
suppleness. As 3-year old, Chanel SVS received her ster predicate; today
she passed her IBOP and her keur conformation class. Chanel SVS was
today’s best mature dressage horse and she earned her keur predicate.

Saugerties last week. He and Todd Minkus make a great team... 22 rounds in the
last month of showing, with ONE rail! Zenith is on a winning streak, and has won

We are honored to have been awarded the Jumper
Foal Championship for our filly Dena SCF (Judgement X A P Jetxx) in
very good company, and are thrilled with her, and the other foals
that we took to the keuring. We took five foals to the Keuring, and came
home with five First Premiums (three of those fillies belong to Marie
Louise Elite Preferent!<G>). That is the second year in a row for
SCF with 100% First Premiums. The Keuring was beautifully run and
there were many very nice horses. Special congratulations to Dee Osborne
and Paard Hill Farm for their Res Championship in the Jumper foal Final
ring with their GORGEOUS Lupicor X Rampal colt Duplicor, and to ISF for
their incredible moving Contango X Metall colt, the Dressage Foal
Champion!

Ster, and achieved the Preferent for her Dam, one of our Foundation mares,
Jolie Pref (Wanroij X TB). Thank you Alain Seheut for the great
training and presentation of Athena!

The
Pennsylvania bred colt Zenith was selected for the 2nd round of
the KWPN Stallion Show. Zenith (Indoctro x Nova/Consul x Akteur)
was bred by Carlos and Karin Jimenez and was bought by VDL Stud as
a yearling.
Sire
Indoctro (Capitol I x Vanessa/Caletto II x Calypso I) was champion
of his stallion test in 1993, and went on to have a very
successful career as an international jumper. He sired more than
ten KWPN approved sons, of which No Limit and Orame were both KWPN
Stallion Show Champions. He received the Preferent predicate on
the basis of his approved sons and the sport results of his
offspring in jumping competition.
Dam
Nova was bred by Iron Spring Farm and is a full sibling to
Judgement ISF. Nova earned her Ster in 1999 and passed her IBOP,
scoring 39.5 points for the jumping portion. She earned her keur
in 2003 after showing her first foal.
The 3-years old mare Wildcard (Goodtimes x
Silvio) has had a very succesfull year in the USA. Wildcard
won the USDF KWPN-NA 3 Year Old Filly Materiale Championship,
and
was 4th in the USA for the Top Ten in both Free jumping and
Movement. Wildcard was also the best mover
of the Iron Spring
Farm Keuring in the USA. Wildcard is bred and owned by the fam.

competition.

four-year-old Dutch Warmblood mare by Goodtimes and out of Marie Louise Elite
Preferent took the win with a score of 85.00.
Wildcard
was one of many fabulous looking horses born in America and showing at Devon
this year. And those horses reminded breeders and spectators alike that not
every quality horse comes from Europe.
