GORGEOUS HUNTER PROSPECT THAT WILL WIN ON THE LINE FIRST, and clean up at the Big Hunter Shows later?  Encore SCF (Soprano (v.Sandro Hit) X Silvio 1 Elite Preferent (the sire of #1 Showjumper Shutterfly)) has an incredible mind.....And he is a GREAT hunter mover! Not a hole in him......and an all European  pedigree to die for, and as heritable as jumping talent has proven to be, this colt should be "ALL THAT"!

It would be nearly impossible to find a colt of this quality and Pedigree in the US, and in Europe, he would be more expensive!  This colt should be worth a ton of money as a 3 yr old.....He would be  suitable for anything from a Top Amateur Hunter to a Hunter Derby Horse!

Dena SCF  Bay filly with lots of Chrome (Judgement crown x Karen J) .Dena is a Gorgeous Dark bay sabino with lots of chrome by Internationally winning Millionaire showjumper Judgement ISF and out of a gorgeous sporthorse type and well bred thoroughbred mare. This filly is beautiful, correct, and has the potential to be a top show hunter or jumper now and an invaluable broodmare later. Very correct and fancy. The sky is the limit for this one. Judgement ISF, by Consul, was bred to jump and that's what he's been doing successfully for most of his life. Ridden by Olympic Team Gold Medalist Beezie Madden, the duo has been one of the most successful pairings in show jumping history. To date they have won over 1.5 million dollars. In 2005 Judgement thrilled the Show Jumping world by winning the largest purse in Grand Prix jumping competition, the $1,000,000 CN International held at Spruce Meadows in Canada. In 2006 and 2007 the team won the Derby at Spruce Meadows and in 2006 they took home the Animal Planet Cup from the Syracuse Invitational. Judgement was also a member of the Gold Medal Team at the Super League Nations Cup in LaBaule, France and tied 1st place in the Irish Field Six Bar in Dublin. Over the years he has represented the USA at the World Equestrian Games and on 10 Nations Cup Teams. While each of these accomplishments is impressive, the fact that Judgement can compete in any type of Grand Prix event and win is the real story. Judgement ISF is unique in his power and versatility and he is the first American-bred stallion to achieve this level of international acclaim. Judgement is approved by the KWPN. He is nominated to the International Jumper and Dressage Futurity.

<<I cannot say enough about Karin and everyone else at Sporting Chance Farm.  From the first phone call to Karin, she was open, honest and professional.  I was interested in an in utero filly option out of a dream match- Balou du Rouet x Nova Keur.  Even before Eva was born, she kept me updated on Nova.  Literally within moments of her birth, she was on the phone with me and sent pictures of Eva.  She has made this long distance interaction simple and smooth with frequent communication and updates.  She is not only a true professional, but also a friend at the same time.  She has gone out of her way in helping me with registration and insurance paperwork as well as the vet check, all of which would have been impossible for me to do without her help.
And now about my little girl, Eclipse SCF (aka Eva).  It is no wonder SCF has been the breeder of the year for the KWPN-NA and have won multiple awards and premiums with their horses (don't have time to name them all but you can check for yourself!).  They understand that it not only takes a great stallion but also a great mare and then match their top quality mares to the top stallions.  I could not be happier with Eva.  She is everything I hoped for in this breeding.  I will certainly go back to Karin when I am in the market for another but for now can't wait to get started with my special girl!  Karin- thank you so much for my future Grand Prix jumper prospect and for all your help!
Sincerely,Amanda>>

sold (by Wanroij ,Full brother to our mare, Jolie'!)

Hi Karin, I thought you would like to know that I did end up showing Mick at WEF. The first week I showed him he was 3rd u/s and 5th o/f out of 25 (I have been showing jumpers for the past year and was a little fast for the hunters!). Last week I managed to slow down and we were 3rd and 8th o/f the first day and won our first class the second day out of 30. In our last class, Mick felt the need to show everyone he's still got it and landed from the last line bucking like a nut. But we still had enough points to clinch reserve champion. I just thought you would like to hear about the old man's achievements. There aren't many horses that can spend six months foxhunting and paperchasing and then go to Palm Beach and win! Especially at 18 years, competing against horses that were easily six figures. Mick is still in FL as I have leased him out to a pre-children's rider for the next month. He was so happy down there that I felt guilty bringing him home! Hope you and the family are well. Say hello to Carlos and Lauren for me. :)Best, Jen

<<I wanted a horse with a good mind, that an amateur could ride, yet talented enough that a professional could take to a higher level, in both Dressage and Jumping.  This horse also had to fantastic bloodlines, so that I could make her my foundation broodmare and elevate the level of horses that I was breeding.  A lot to ask for? I found this very special horse at Karin and Carlos Jimenez's Sporting Chance Farm.  I bought Wings from SCF, sight unseen, and shipped her across the continent to California.  She arrived, fresh and beautiful, and she has been a pleasure to own.  Karin is wonderful to work with and was tremendously helpful with every facet of the transaction.  I look forward to continuing my relationship with Karin, SCF and her successful horses.

In Nov, 2005, I purchased a foal in-utero from Carlos & Karin Jimenez of Sporting Chance Farm. From the first time I spoke to Karin, I felt comfortable buying our foal in-utero. After sealing the deal, Karin has been excellent at keeping me updated on the progress of the mare as well as calling us when she was getting ready to foal. The horses at Sporting Chance Farm are very well taken care of and the breeding program there has proven over and over to be very successful.

SHARI GLICKMAN credit  below 3 photos

International quality 2001 KWPN Keur mare in professional training. Utopia keur has done it all. Fresh off TWO Under Saddle WINS at Dressage at Devon 2005 under two different judges (Cord Wassman of Germany with a 76.60% and judge Jane Ayers 76.40%)! Top Ster mare in the USA 2004! Utopia is in serious training with a professional and ready to go to Florida or to the qualifiers for the 5 Year old Championships! Judges LOVE this mare! From a family of DAD and keuring winners and by an Olympic stallion. Winner of the Born of the USA award at DAD and the DG Bar Cup two years in a row! At her young age she has done it all and WON it all! Uncomplicated with three excellent gaits and a talented jumper, too!
Here is some of her history...after being awarded a coveted FIRST premium as a foal by the NA/WPN AND winning her class at DAD, Utopia was wildly successful in 2004 when she was named the TOP STER MARE IN THE COUNTRY for the NA/WPN with an unprecedented finish of FIRST in the country for movement and SECOND in the country for conformation and freejumping! Utopia was also the only horse at the ISF keuring in 2004 to receive her provisional "keur." She was the highest scoring horse of the day, topping colts and fillies alike and the mature horses as well.. After winning the DG Bar Cup at the Iron Spring Farm keuring with a brilliant performance under saddle, she was named CHAMPION of the 3 and 4 yr old division, and ended the year as 5th in the COUNTRY for the DG Bar Cup over all ages! Utopia then went on to finish second in her class at Dressage at Devon in 2004 and was awarded the coveted "Born in the USA" high point award! After a spectacular 2004 Utopia just keeps on winning, winning the DG Bar cup again in 2005 earned her keur predicate with multiple finishes in the top of the Top Ten year end awards for the NA/WPN! This young mare has done just about everything a young horse can do and is ready to take the right owner to the top and produce future champions later!

UTOPIA (OLYMPIC IDOCUS x JOLIE) WINS:

Devon Horse Show 2004  2nd place

"Utopia" is a 2001 KWPN registered Dutch Warmblood filly that already has an excellent show record behind her. She is by the internationally winning Grand Prix dressage stallion, "Idocus" and out of  Dressage at Devon winner, and fabulous producer "Jolie" (by Wanroij who at one time was the leading sire of dressage horses in America). Utopia won her foal class of 40+ foals at DAD under Mr Haring with an 82% for conformation and no score less than an 80%!  Utopia then went on to be awarded a coveted First Premium with the NA/WPN to prove her quality once again. This filly has it all, beautiful looks, correct conformation, athletecism, quiet temperament and three excellent gaits. It is also important to note that both  "Utopia's" sire and dam are excellent jumpers as well, making her a prospect for either discipline.

"Utopia" has several full siblings that have also been very successful, the most well known being "Olympia", a three time winner at DAD in hand, and second place at DAD under saddle. "Olympia" was also awarded her "Ster" and was Third in the country for the NA/WPN's Best of the Best year end standings. As the "apple doesn't fall far from the tree", "Utopia" would be an asset to anyone looking for a fancy performance horse now, and an exceptional broodmare later.

Winner of the Fillies of 2001 Class at Dressage At Devon with an 81.3% under Dr. Hanfried Haring. Utopia bested the class of 42 entries to join her Dam (Jolie was a past winner at DAD) ,and full siblings Olympia (3 time winner at DAD), and Priceless and Rubicon (both 2nd place DAD) in their DAD successes. Jolie and Utopia were  joined in the winning line-up for this class by Utopia's full sister Priceless and her Orame filly Ultimate Lady who was fifth in the class.

<<"We highly recommend Sporting Chance Farm to all of our clients seeking young, talented sport horses.  We currently have two of Karin and Carlos' youngsters in our barn.  Both have three FEI-quality gaits combined with great "volunteer" attitudes.  The youngsters at Sporting Chance Farm are handled regularly, while still being encouraged to interact with other horses through ample turn-out.  For this reason, they have fantastic minds and an eagerness to work.  The Sporting Chance Farm brood mares are just as impressive as the internationally renowned stallions to which they are bred.  The bottom line:   Karin and Carlos Jimenez have given American riders the ability to purchase international caliber horses without leaving the USA."

A full brother to our foundation broodmare, Jolie (Wanroij X Enchante xx), Insignia was our first KWPN foal. He was awarded a First Premium by the NA/WPN and was named one of the top ten foals in the country. After showing successfully on the line, he was sold to Jennifer Batchelor and began a career in the hunter ring that has spanned more than a decade. Insignia has won at some of the most prestigious shows in the country, including Devon and Harrisburg. He has brought home tricolors in several divisions with several different riders, and has qualified for the Zone II Hunter Finals numerous times. In 2003, he won the $10,000 North American League Children’s Hunter Final at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show. At age 15, he is still showing and winning! This line produces horses that can truly do it all, as is evidenced by the winnings of Utopia ster, Olympia ster, Priceless, Rubicon and Wizard. We hope that Zoe will continue the tradition when she makes her hunter breeding debut this spring. Watch for her in 2005!

I purchased Insignia, affectionately known as “Mick” or “Micki,” when he was three years old. He had an outstanding jump, a ton of stride and even more personality. During the many years that I owned him, Mick’s talent exceeded my expectations. Everywhere he went, people admired him and asked whether he was for sale. He never had a stop in him, and lived to horse show.

Until I sold him to focus on graduate school, Mick and I enjoyed hacking bareback, galloping cross-country fences and bringing home loads of ribbons in the children’s and adult amateur hunters. Mick went on to win too many tricolors to count and earned top ribbons from the Zone II Hunter Finals, first with amateur Susan Cordell of Marlton, NJ, and later with junior Ashley Hotz of Shamong, NJ. In 2003, Ashley and Mick won the $10,000 North American League Children’s Hunter Final at the Pennsylvania National Horse Show in Harrisburg, Pa. The pair also earned a blue over fences at the 2003 Zone II Finals. Mick, now 15 years old, will spend the 2005 season showing a new rider the ropes in the pre-children’s hunters.

Wizard- 2003 colt by Idocus out of Jolie

ALL with a congratulations to Lita Pace on his continued wins in Hunter AND Sport Horse Breeding!

See testimonial below!

I purchased Wizard, foaled 2/18/03 ( Idocus- Jolie), on 5/15/03 as a retirement project.  I based my purchase on the quality breeding of SCF and I couldn’t be more pleased with my choice of Wizard.   Working with experienced trainers I’ve learned in-hand work and look forward to the continuing process with Wizard.  In a couple of years I’ll be coming back to Karin and Carlos for another youngster, no doubt in my mind.<

The following excerpt is from the NA/WPN "On the Road Report":

Never say never when someone invites you to judge horses in Nova Scotia. Never Say Never (Wanroij x Talk of Gold xxa x Milkie xx), the foundation mare of Martha Haley's breeding program, was presented along with her 4 year old daughter (by Idocus), 2 year gelding (by Idocus), yearling colt (by Ferro) and granddaughter (Orame x Idocus), and all received a first premium. Never Say Never, bred by Dr. Carlos and Karen Jimenez received a star in the morning due to her good conformation and supple movement as well as her good technique during the free jumping. Under saddle, she proved her ridablity and not only showed good jumping technique, but showed that she had scope as well. The final score for the riding test was 73. All of the Never Say Never offspring had extremely good necks and polls

<<Hi Colleen, I am the very proud owner of Never Say Never, keur preferent.  I bought her from Karin as a 2 yr. old.  I had admired Utopia, but she was way out of my price range.  Never Say Never (aka. Winnie), I bought sight unseen - only a picture - no video.  But she had been #2 XFB foal in the North American keuring, so I trusted the jury saw something special.  I had a good feeling about this filly and obviously, I was right.I consider Never Say Never to be "the goose that laid the golden egg" - she has been incredibly successful as a broodmare.

Never Say Never is the foundation mare of my breeding program.  I even named my farm after her! You can check out my horses at:
www.angelfire.com/ns2/our_horses/    Never Say Never's link is at the bottom.  Her page has a current synopsis of her successes.

Karin was a great mentor to me as I developed my breeding program.  We still correspond regularly and discuss our breeding strategies.

Sincerely,
Martha Haley>>
