                                         WHAT a year for SCF

Hello Everyone!

We have been busy here at Sporting Chance Farm, and wanted to share some of our news and new photos with all of you! Here are some "new" photos of Utopia our 4yr old KWPN filly taken in October (the ground is too frozen to get any more recent photos) but just posted on our website. Utopia is looking better and better with each passing month at Graemont Farm under the capable training and direction of Steve Wolgemuth. Please click on the above link to see even more photos, news, and results for Utopia and SCF's other horses. 2004 was a great year! We anxiously await our 2005 foals due out of Nova keur (by Indoctro keur) and Jolie (by Balou du Rouet (Baloubet du Rouet X Continue (Contender)). Photos of both stallions can be seen on our website.
We are also excited and proud to announce that SCF's breeding program was featured in this month's issue of the publication "Horse International". We will try to get the article posted on-line in the next couple of days, so please check back! That makes two issues in a row as Utopia's photo and results (she finished as the NA/WPN's TOP Ster mare in the USA for 2004!) appeared in the last issue! Many thanks to the NA/WPN, the editors of HI, and to Scot Tolman for choosing to feature SCF and for writing such a fine article! What a great start to 2005!
We are now agonizing over stallion choices and currently flushing embryos from Marie Louise Elite (Silvio 1 X Sit This One Outxx X Saluut). We are considering Indoctro keur, Balou du Rouet, Stedinger (Sandro Hit X Landadel) and a repeat of the Ulft breeding that produced our Champion colt "Zulft" but are open to any of your suggestions!<G> Marie herself is from the wildly popular "S" line (Silvio 1 is a son of Sandro) and is an excellent 'outcross" for almost all of the KWPN stallions. We would consider producing "custom embryos" since Marie is open and cycling early if anyone is interested. Marie Louise Elite has proven herself an excellent producer (please see the website for details and photos of Thekla Marie Elite, Unforgettable, the 3 Goodtimes ET 2yr olds and Zulft, Please remember to check out the website itself using the link enclosed in this email. Take care and please forward any questions, opinions, or suggestions!

                                                                                    Warmly,

                                                                            Karin and Carlos Jimenez
