Hello Everyone!
We have lots of great news to share! Our homebred KWPN 2 yr
old colt, VDL Zenith (Indoctro Pref X Nova Keur (the full
sister of Judgement ISF)) has been chosen for the First Round Stallion
Selections in the Netherlands in December! Zenith has also passed his
x-rays. A short video clip is enclosed!
More great news! Carlos and I have been awarded the
USDF Breeder of the Year Res. Champion Award in it's inaugural year! Zulft
(Ulft Keur X Marie Louise Elite (Silvio 1 X Sit This One Outxx X Saluut)),
Wildcard (Goodtimes X Marie Louise Elite), Wizard (Idocus X Jolie) and Zoe
(Goodtimes X Jolie) all helped to earn Sporting Chance Farm this award!
Many thanks to owners Lita Pace (Wizard) and Lois Mermelstein (Zoe) and
trainers and handlers Angela Sasso, Todd Bryan, Dee Osborne and Klaus
Schengber for all of their help!
USDF HORSE OF THE YEAR AWARDS
The USDF Horse of the Year standings have been
finalized! We are proud to announce that ZULFT is 2006 USDF Horse of the
Year CHAMPION (tie for 2 yr old colts), after being Res. CH in 2005, and
his half sister, WILDCARD was Third in the USA in the Materiale class for
3 yr old fillies and 6th in hand! Zoe and Wizard were also well ranked!

THE USDF ALL BREED AWARD STANDINGS HAVE JUST BEEN PUBLISHED! We are proud
to represent the KWPN-NA organization and KWPN horses with the following
horses and results:
WILDCARD - CHAMPION for KWPN 3yr old Filly MATERIALE (thanks Angela
Sasso!)
ZULFT - Res CHAMPION KWPN 2 yr old colts and geldings (was also RS CH in
2005!)
ZOE - 3rd for KWPN 2 yr old fillies
WIZARD- 3rd for KWPN MATERIALE 3 yr old colts and geldings, AND 4th
KWPN 3 yr old colts and geldings in hand

It has been a great year and we feel so lucky to be blessed with the
horses that we have, and the people that have helped to make all of this

Farm's horses presented were awarded First Premiums with Utopia WINNING
the Prestigious DG Bar Cup ( for the second year in a row!!) AND receiving her
KEUR STATUS! Utopia is SCF's SECOND homebred Keur mare (Never Say Never is now
Keur Preferent!!)!!

competition!

We are so privileged and excited to own "Judgment's" full sister "Nova keur".
"Nova" has also "made news" since her colt by
Indoctro keur, "Zenith" was purchased by VDL Stud in the Netherlands
where he resides awaiting stallion selections
(we have retained part
ownership) and we now have a full sister "Aurora".
Nova is back in foal for
another full sibling for 2006!

This One Outxx X Saluut) was Reserve Colt Champion on the first day and Reserve
Champion YOUNG HORSE the second day (and the only male horse to make it to the
Grand Championship)! The comments and scores were excellent and included an
83.5% with 8.5% for walk, trot and General Impression from well respected judge
Gail Hoff-Carmona! Zulft also won the KWPN class. Many thanks to Loucky Hagens
Groomsman for sponsoring this class and for the wonderful equestrian art
"prize"! This was Zulft's first show since his Reserve High Point
Championship at Dressage at Devon last fall with an 85.1%!

X Marie Louise Elite) had the HIGHEST score of the entire Fair Hill Breed Show
with an 87.9% under judge Jos Severeins!
BOTH ZULFT AND WARTIMES (half
brothers) qualified on their first times out for the Cosequin Championships
at DAD for 2005!

After an incredibly
successful showing at the Iron Spring Farm NA/WPN keuring 9/05 Utopia is now
a KEUR MARE!!! She also WON THE PRESTIGIOUS DG BAR CUP FOR AN UNPRECEDENTED
SECOND YEAR IN A ROW!! Many thanks to Todd Bryan for his expertise,
training, and care of Utopia! Look out for this incredible team at Dressage
at Devon!

UPDATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Utopia was wildly succesful in 2004! She was named the TOP STER MARE IN THE
COUNTRY for the NA/WPN with an unprecedented finish of FIRST in the country for
movement and SECOND in the country for conformation and movement! Utopia was
also the only horse at the keuring to receive her provisional "Keur."
She was the highest scoring horse of the day, topping colts and fillies alike
and the mature horses as well.. After winning the DG Bar Cup at Iron
Spring Farm Keuring with a brilliant performance under saddle, and was
named CHAMPION of the 3 and 4 yr old division, she ended the year as 5th in the
COUNTRY for the DG Bar Cup over all ages!
Utopia then
went on to finish second in her class at Dressage at Devon in 2004 and was
awarded the coveted "Born in the USA" high point award! This
young filly has done just about everything a young horse can do and is ready to
take the right owner to the top!

the 2004 NA/WPN Keuring at Iron Spring Farm
